Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
It's come down to this: our final two contenders in Racked's first-ever Neighborhood Style Showdown. Early on, both West Hollywood and Silver Lake were had strong showings in the polls. Now it comes time for the neighborhoods to go head-to-head to see which area will be crowned the most stylish in LA.
As we've noted, West Hollywood contains crucial portions of Melrose, Robertson, Beverly and Sunset as well as style destinations like Rag & Bone, John Varvatos, Vanessa Bruno and H Lorenzo. Meanwhile, Silver Lake's borders include a sizeable, shoppable portion of Sunset Boulevard as well as Rowena and boutiques like Mohawk General Store, Dream Collective, Ok and Yolk.
