While others would steer clear of organizing non-desert events during Coachella weekend, Sheryl Cancellieri is up for the challenge. On Saturday, April 13th, the Highland Park artist presents Eastside Handmade—"an independent arts and handmade market supporting local artists."
From 11am to 5pm, swing by new furniture store and DIY design studio Shopclass to shop handmade home accessories, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography and lifestyle goods from a host of eastside-residing vendors, like the above hex bracelets by Otherwild-favorite, Brooke Woosley.
If you're down for the cause but can't bear to miss Coachella, The Eastsider reports that the market will run "on a quarterly basis in conjunction with monthly artisan workshops."
