Scotch & Soda Opens Its First SoCal Store on Abbot Kinney

After much anticipation, Scotch & Soda finally opened the doors to its 7,200-square-foot Abbot Kinney retail space this past Saturday. The Amsterdam-based fashion brand settled on a prime two-story spot just across the street from Intelligentsia, embracing the area's boho aesthetic with glassed cacti display on the store's back wall.

Launching with menswear back in the '80s, the brand eventually introduced its women's collection, Maison Scotch, after relaunching 2002. In addition to hosting threads for both guys and gals, the impressive Venice Beach location is covered in the label's signature scent—Barfly.

Scotch & Soda is also stacked with chambray, linen and a liberal amount of all-over print that would be suitable for any warm day or much needed vacation (we spotted palm trees and animal print). With the merchandise housed on the first floor, the small upstairs loft and its lounge area are the perfect finishing touches to Abbot Kinney's latest addition.
