Richmond-based e-boutique Need Supply Co. recently released the second issue of its biannual print publication Human Being Journal. Its 192 pages include 79 people, nine problems, eight solutions and "a lot of tattoos," as demonstrated by one of the featured photoshoots. The shoot, heavy on '90s grunge influence with the help of in-house stylist Carolyn Doolittle, was shot by photog Harper Smith on the streets and sidewalks of LA's eccentric Venice Beach.

The second issue explores the cross section of subjects bridging fashion, lifestyle, cuisine and art and includes interviews with Venice eyewear designer Garrett Leight, filmmaker Kai Neville and artist Mia Christopher.
