Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Given the success of platforms like Closet Rich and Vaunte, it's pretty clear that people love shopping closet castoffs, especially when the designer items up for grabs were previously owned by renowned style stars.

The latest tastemaker to expand on the consignment trend is Ambre Dahan—the design director behind LA's own Joe's Jeans and the wife of its founder Joe Dahan. According to the site, "Walk In My Closet is an international online destination and luxury utility for curating and cataloguing your wardrobe and style, discovering up-to-the-minute trends and emerging designers, sharing and shopping the absolute best in vintage and contemporary fashion, and connecting with an exclusive group of style influencers worldwide."

In short, you can showcase, shop, sell and share designer and vintage fashion. Some of our favorite featured closets so far include Raquel Allegra's insane footwear collection (Acne, Chloe, Miu Miu) and founder Ambre's incredible high-end accessories (Balenciaga boots, Celine sunnies). Even Joe's hand-me-downs are in the mix for the boys.
