Since opening its first location on La Brea back in 2011, Lab Art is now considered "the largest art gallery in the nation dedicated to street art." Ready to take its ever-expanding variety of underground talent to the next level, the gallery has just opened its second location inside Fred Segal Santa Monica, of all places.

Haute Living notes that Lab Art's new digs span 2,000 square feet and boast "over 100 works by 19 different artists," including Alec Monopoly, who recently teamed up with Hudson Jeans for a Saks party.

Speaking of parties, to toast former fashion designer Iskander Lemseffer and art collector Rachel Joelson's latest location, Lab Art at Fred Segal SaMo is throwing an opening reception next Thursday, April 18th from 7 to 10pm. Hosted by Minx Society, the bash will feature healthful refreshments from Clover Juice, bites by Umami burger and possible celeb sightings. Mark your calendars.
