Hold the freakin' phone. Trusty DTLA blogger Brigham Yen reports that devastatingly cool Swedish clothing company Acne Studios has "signed a lease to take over the corner retail space in the Eastern Columbia at 9th and Broadway." If it happens (fingers and toes crossed), this will only be the brand's second store in the US, following its existing New York outpost.
Globally recognized for its unique aesthetic and innovative silhouettes, Acne is the go-to brand for a host of international fashion fixtures, including Elin Kling and Hanneli Mustaparta. We'll keep you posted as this story develops.
