Elle Decor has an online-exclusive slideshow of Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant's Los Feliz home, and it's pretty stunning. But first, a question: Why do so many Mad Men folks live in Los Feliz? Jon Hamm (and his third leg), January Jones, even relative newbie Jessica Pare all call the neighborhood home.
Anyway, Bryant reveals that she has a thing for birds and that there is a bird or bird-related item in every room in her home. This turns out to be not at all like the Portlandia skit and is instead very elegant and baroque. "I live, breathe, and sleep design," the costumer said. She then revealed that in addition to putting together her own clothing and accessories line for Banana Republic, she wants to design home decor, either "china, silver, or barware —or bedding." Well, from the looks of it, she's clearly got a knack for interiors.
