Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Kathryn Romeyn is the executive editor at SoCal fashion mag Foam as well as the editorial director of Beauty Bender, a site she cofounded with Alexis Johnson. She's a nail art fanatic, a beauty product hoarder and a lover of Woodley & Bunny on West 3rd.

As a die-hard beauty junkie (I'd win a gold medal in product hoarding), I'm always on the lookout for my next hero formula or favorite nail color, which makes Woodley & Bunny my mecca. It's not exactly hidden—being on West 3rd—but it's under-the-radar enough that many people miss out on its sometimes obscure, always top-quality goods. The shoebox-sized shop is serene, chic and chock-full of beauty brands I'm addicted to, including the amazing Santa Monica-based line Arcona (I don't go a day without using several of their skincare saviors), RGB nail polish, the makeup artist cult fave Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and Dutch Ellis Faas makeup label. If geeking out over exotic moisturizers and unheard-of serums isn't your thing, it's also a quick and easy stop for gifts—their selection of candles is unbeatable and they stock super luxurious men's grooming products and even rad silver statement jewelry (my other great love). It's really just a gorgeous treasure trove primed for great discoveries.
