Emily Schuman has spun her aspirational lifestyle site Cupcakes and Cashmere into blogging gold. The LA resident and former AOL sales rep has signed deals with Estée Lauder, Coach, StyleMint and Juicy Couture and even released her own book. She'll also be participating at Lucky Magazine's FABB event next month.
On her speaker's bio, Schuman details her achievements. Then, she writes this: "Cupcakes and Cashmere is leading lifestyle blog that offers a daily doses of inspiration about fashion, food, interior design, travel, and beauty and was named the Best Fashion Blog in 2010 and 2012 in the Bloggies awards. The brand will be extending into consumer products in 2013, having recently signed with a top brand licensing agency." Curious. What type of Cupcakes and Cashmere products would you like to see? Home goods, makeup, clothes? It'll be interesting to see how this one develops.
