Sad news for flea market fans. SaMo Patch reports that, after 23 years, the Saturday flea at John Muir Elementary is taking its final bow on April 6th from 9am to 3pm. As for the reason behind the closing, the school's PTA "felt there were other opportunities to raise money for the school that didn't require such a large investment of time and money." A quarterly boutique may take its place. [Patch]
