The New York Times has crowned Nasty Gal's Sophia Amoruso as the "Cinderella of tech." Adding to a laundry list of prized press clips that includes a nod from Forbes and a stint on MTV's House of Style, the LA-based e-tail powerhouse shares her story with the East Coast publication. In addition to discussing her well-documented road to triumph, we also learn that footwear guru Sam Edelman nearly gave her the cold shoulder at Project Vegas until she "charged back an hour later, showed them Nasty Gal's Web site on her iPhone and promised to deliver the brand some street cred."
