Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Free People is in the music festival mood, which isn't surprising considering their fringy, boho clothes are Coachella-worthy pretty much year round. The retailer has decided to launch Festivella, a series of parties in Free People stores celebrating festival garb. There will be fashion shows, styling advice, hair chalking how-tos, flower crown DIYs, henna stations, dip dye tutorials, braid bars, live music and more—you get the drift.
The Festivella festivities begin tomorrow from 1 to 3pm with the debut of Free People's Westfield Topanga boutique, and continue throughout March and April at Free People locations in Hollywood, Glendale, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Century City, Carlsbad and South Coast Plaza. You can RSVP to each on the Festivella page, which is right here.
