Topshop is Angling for LA Ladies' Prom Dress Business

There may be a little more squealing than usual tomorrow night at Topshop. That's because it's prom season and the British retailer has decided to invite all teens in the area over for a Prom Party.

High schoolers can expect free hair styling and makeovers, sweets, beverages, DJ'd tunes and gifts with purchase. Yesterday's NYC event also featured Teen Vogue editor Kate Steinmiller, so there may be a surprise guest in the works as well. To prep, shoppers can browse Topshop's curated prom section online, which includes quite a few mini-dresses (guess poofy, Jessica McClintock-esque numbers are out this year ) as well as jewelry, clutches, lipsticks and, of course, shoes. The event runs from 6 to 9pm.
