Ever since Alessandra Ambrosio moved to LA, locals have enjoyed randomly spotting the Brazilian bombshell all over town, from Petco to SoulCycle. She's also a huge beach bum and often rocks breezy pieces by Venice's own Show Me Your Mumu. Soon we'll be seeing Ambrosio on the west side sporting looks from her debut lifestyle brand.
Alé by Alessandra is backed by Sherman Oaks marketing company Cherokee, Inc. and is set to launch next spring. "Starting with apparel pieces ranging from casual to day-into-evening, Alé is aimed at the 18- to 35-year-old looking for clothes that emulate Ambrosio's Brazil-meets-Malibu-by-way-of-Europe style," WWD reveals. (Victoria's Secret Angel body not included.)
The fashion trade rag adds that the first range will feature boho looks from "tunic, mini and maxidresses to shorts, stretchy slim pants and cropped jackets" and that "pieces are similar to styles she is often spotted in on red carpets and off-duty at the Malibu Country Mart."
