Last month, LA-based denim designer Paige Adams-Geller walked us through the spring/summer Paige line at Ron Herman. Adams-Geller was particularly excited by her blue-and-white rose print jeans, a pattern that was achieved with use of a specialized laser. Her design, named the Skyline ankle peg skinny jean in White Rose, retails for $190 on Ron Herman's site.
Today, InStyle published a preview of Lauren Conrad's spring line for mass retailer Kohl's in which LC models a pair of similar skinny jeans, which originally retailed for $54 but are already marked down to $40.50 on kohls.com.

Sure, the styles differ—Lauren's rose pattern is a little less distinct, larger and the roses overlap whereas the Paige style features tiny, less blown-out roses that don't bleed together. It's not an exact facsimile, but they sure are similar. Great minds think alike?
