Josie Maran espouses argan oil, Miranda Kerr swears by coconut oil and fashion stylist Linda Rodin's beloved potion is a blend of multiple natural oils, including jasmin, rose hip, sweet almond, jojoba, apricot and sunflower. But in Into The Gloss' profile of LA-based actress Teresa Palmer, we're presented with another face oil alternative: avocado.
Palmer, whose natural beauty routine includes putting compresses of cold, caffeinated tea bags on her eyes to decrease puffiness, says that in addition to being moisturizing, avocado oil, "helps get rid of redness or any little dots." The actress procures hers at Whole Foods ("I love the beauty department at Whole Foods") and applies it after cleansing her face in the mornings, or to help remove makeup at night. Intriguing.
