Bulgari Dusts Off Liz Taylor's Jewels for Rodeo Drive Preview

About a year ago, a portion of Elizabeth Taylor's extensive jewelry collection went up for auction at Christie's. The sale, which netted a whopping $116 mil, included several Bulgari pieces. The luxury house decided to buy them back, and today, they'll be available for a public preview at the Bulgari boutique on Rodeo.

The bling includes an 18.26-carat emerald and diamond brooch, Taylor's first-ever Bulgari (gifted to her by then-fiancee Richard Burton), which was purchased for $6.5 million; an emerald and diamond necklace that went for $6.1 million; another brooch featuring a 23.44-carat octagonal step-cut diamond; and five more awe-inspiring pieces. The house is holding on to the jewels for now, but you can view them all in person from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
