Brace: Raf Simons' Debut Dior Collection is Coming to Maxfield

You might want to sit down for this: To mark the highly-anticipated retail release of Raf Simons' to-die-for Dior debut, the French fashion house is hosting a slew of pop-up shops at select boutiques across the globe. Maxfield on Melrose is one of them.

WWD reveals that Dior will "transplant the decor and atmosphere of Simons' ready-to-wear show in Paris last September" and shops will feature custom "window displays, special furnishings, photo exhibitions and even a playlist of electronic music by French DJ Michel Gaubert." The fashion trade journal also mentions that Dior tapped bloggers in each location to build buzz (Man Repeller in New York, Chiara Ferragni in Italy), but an LA rep has yet to be named. Which of our blogstars will they choose?

Per Dior's Pop-Up Project site (they really went all out for this), the Maxfield installation is set to debut on March 15th. Stay tuned for launch party details.
