Kyle Richards' tagline on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season is: "I'm born and raised in Beverly Hills. This is my town." She knows the wealth-driven city like the back of her hand and recently marked her territory by opening a boutique on Brighton Way called Kyle by Alene Too. Here, Richards reveals her latest luxury loot and thoughts on BH's baller party scene.
When was your last shopping spree?
"Whenever it's my birthday, I always take myself shopping. I love going into Chanel and buying myself a handbag, however this year I had to have the Chanel leather fingerless gloves with the rhinestones. I'd seen them on Madonna and my niece Paris Hilton, and I finally found them. It seemed like a ridiculous thing to buy but because it was my birthday, I allowed myself to buy them!"
What's one of the priciest items in Kyle by Alene Too?
"I always love shopping at my store. because there's a great selection at all price points. But if we're going for something extravagant, one of my favorites has been this Mandalay dress that you'll being seeing on the show soon."
Have you been to any flashy festivities lately?
"If you watch Real Housewives, then you've seen a lot of extravagant parties. From Pandora's lavish and glamorous wedding to a camel walking through your house at a birthday party, over-the-top is pretty much the norm in Beverly Hills. Even though I'm born and raised here, I'm amazed at how far people will go to throw to a party."
