Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Adult film star Johnny Hazzard is mixing things up a bit, having recently dipped his toe into the fashion industry with a line of eco-friendly tee shirts for a company called Ruff Riders. His creations are made of 100% organic cotton and are dyed with biodegradable dyes or printed with environmentally friendly ink. While it's only tees now, Hazzard has plans to expand his line to include hooded sweatshirts, bags and anything else he can get his hands on. Here, Mr. Hazzard points us to his go-to spot on Abbot Kinney.

I found Old Glory Barber Shop the old fashioned way, by word of mouth, and finally visited it when I moved to Venice from Hollywood. This spot is located on the very south end of Abbot Kinney Blvd. It has exactly what you would come to expect from a barber shop in Venice: funky music, funky barbers and here's the selling point....complimentary cans of PBR. Not only did I get a top-of-the-line cut, but I managed to have a beer during it. Did I also mention that OG doubles as a tattoo parlor? This place is my one-stop shop.
