Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Shareen Mitchell is a former Vogue-ette, model scout and actress, and the current proprietor of a massive warehouse full of vintage dresses located in DTLA. She opened another shop in New York City in 2009, and last year, expanded her empire with a jewel-box boutique on West 3rd dedicated to her burgeoning clothing brand, Shareen.
Now clients who can't make it to her stores can buy her made-to-order creations online. Today, Shareen announced the launch of a web shop, stocked with figure-flattering creations from cocktail dresses to floor-length gowns to bridal options. The selection is still small, though many color options are available; remarkably, nothing tops $1,000. Click here to shop it.
