Here's a good news two-fer for Downtown's rising shopping stretch of 9th and Broadway, where ultra-cool Swedish retailer Acne and Urban Outfitters are slated to open their doors very, very soon. So, remember how DTLA-based American Apparel snapped up NYC monochrome-loving label Oak, or that time when equally hip French brand A.P.C. was eyeing a potential new abode on Melrose Place? As DTLA blogger/insider Brigham Yen reveals, both impossibly cool brands are expected to set up shop in—you guessed it—Downtown's revitalized historic Broadway theatre district.

While Yen confirms that Oak plans on opening its doors in early 2014, there's no word yet on A.P.C.'s exact move-in date for next year—or whether the Kanye-collabing brand's Croft Ave store will completely relocate to their new DTLA digs. Anyone else considering a ZIP code change? In any case, stay tuned for more deets.
