If you're looking for a way collect even more good karma this gift-giving season, West Hollywood's newly-christened Design District has the answer. As of right this minute, a host of shops and design studios along the walkable shopping stretches of Melrose Ave, Robertson Blvd, and Beverly Blvd are collecting unwrapped toys for kids in need as part of the community's 23rd annual toy and food drive. ('Tis the season, yes?)
To kick-start WeHo's philanthropic mission, ritzy boutique Mayfair House teamed up with LA-based Kellytoy to donate a truckload of merch. For those who opt to spread the merry spirit via cold hard (digital) cash, you can also donate your Lincolns, Hamiltons and Benjamins online, too. Last year's efforts raised over $31,000, which went on to give a very big helping hand for the holidays to over 600 needy families—not too shabby, indeed.
The toy drive ends December 24th; check out the list of participating donation locations—including luxe photog shop Leica, home goods haven Niche, celeb-faved resto Craig's and more—here.
