Just like last year, we've tapped a handful of reputable fashion friends to weigh in on 2013's greatest hits (and misses). Earlier today, we named LA's best shops. Next up: Best LA Brand. Agree with their picks? Sound off in the comments.

Melissa Akkaway, designer and Beckley Boutique owner: "I love Sundry. They do amazing, cozy sweats and fun graphic tees. It's very California cool."
Monica Rose, stylist and designer: "Juan Carlos Obando."
Richard Wainwright, A Current Affair co-founder: "For my own wardrobe, I like Band of Outsiders."
Christos Garkinos, Decades co-owner: "LA transplant Alexander Lewis."
Kaya B. Mlle Mademoiselle designer: "My line, Mlle Mademoiselle."
Jen Weinberg, Glamour West Coast editor: "I love Anine Bing. She has exploded onto the LA fashion scene so quickly, and the line embodies everything that is California Cool. I am also a huge fan of 194t, a T-shirt line by Linda Monaskanian with pieces all made from Japanese cotton so soft you never want to take it off. I'll forever be an Equipment fan, my closet is jam-packed with their button ups. And, I love Gabriela Artigas and am thrilled she has finally opened her LA shop.
Sonja Rasula, Unique LA founder: "Band of Outsiders."
Amanda Thomas, Luv Aj designer: "I have gotten lazy and resorted to wearing sweatshirts with leather pants every day since it's so damn cold. So, my favorite new sweatshirt line, Private Party, has been my favorite. All the Drake references make me so happy since I love that album so much."
Simone Harouche, stylist and Simone Camille designer: "My line, Simone Camille."
Sarah St. Lifer, freelance journalist: "My initial answer would be Rodarte. I'm also completely smitten with Hedi Slimane. Yes, he's French and so is the label, but he's such a Cali guy and has definitely infused some of his new lifestyle into the brand. For everyday wares, Elkin, Vena Cava and Jenni Kayne are labels that have really put out some notable collections as of late. "
Tommy Lei , My Belonging blogger: "Luv Aj. Amanda Thomas finally made the transition from baubles to an insanely epic ready-to-wear collection that I am drooling over. Those leather jackets and furry sweaters are divine. "
