As seen in the decked out halls of LA's many shopping centers, the festive, jingle bell-filled season is in full swing. If packed parking lots, mall Santas and big box retailers aren't exactly on your gift hunting itinerary, may we suggest hitting up the Echo Park Craft Fair's holiday marketplace this weekend for your indie shopping fix?
This Saturday and Sunday at the Mack Sennett Studios, shop the handcrafted wares of over 50 top-notch local talents, including a host of hometown heroes like bag maven Clare Vivier, jeweler Gabriela Artigas and shoe designer/Young Gun Beatrice Valenzuela, plus plenty of other ace artists, craftsters and makers. Expect to find everything from apparel, jewelry, home goods, textiles, furniture, artisanal bites and more at the massive (and free!) two-day affair.
Into it? Check out the full roster of vendors here.
