If braving Black Friday isn't on your list of this week's near-death experiences, be thankful that LA has plenty of mall-free retail therapy options. This Sunday, Connected Fashion Fest is once again uniting local designers, bands and food trucks for an epic holiday block party in Downtown.
It's all happening in the Arts District from 11am to 6pm, when shoppers can save big on merch from hometown heroes Skingraft, essential shop The Well, streetwear giants Obey and Joyrich, American Apparel and Again, plus many more LA labels. Partygoers can head to the stages and catch top-notch musical talents like Crystal Antlers and KCRW DJ Mario Cotto on the decks, then get refueled at a host of delish food vendors. And to remind folks that 'tis really the season of giving, admission is free when you bring a canned food donation for the LA Food Bank.
Stoked? Check out the full line-up of brands, bands and more as they're announced here.
