The fine folks behind globally-conscious brand Apolis are working their magic again in Downtown. The latest endeavor from creative director Raan Parton and his wife, Lindsay comes in the form of Alchemy Works, a cool new concept space and lifestyle boutique that the couple describes as "a living Tumblr" in the Arts District.
Open as of right now, the space stocks an eclectic range of new and vintage goods that toast "the rich lifestyle and heritage of California, the New America, and beyond." (We're listening.) Part gallery and part neighborhood hangout, the bright and airy shop stocks apparel for men (Gitman Vintage and M. Nii, to name a few) and women (Heidi Merrick, The Eternal, Holmes and Yang), plus accessories, home goods and more—including that seriously rad 1959 Fiat Abarth Spyder you see above (it's the only one of its kind in the US).
Alchemy Works is open daily from 12pm to 7pm.
