Two essential LA shops are teaming up to produce a unique experience for the senses next week. At 7:30pm on both November 6 and 7, l.a. Eyeworks will work with nearby Scent Bar to transform its legendary Beverly eyewear boutique to host two screenings for the 2006 cult film Perfume. The event will feature a "scent-track" of 15 rare fragrances by Les Christophs for Thierry Mugler.
Also in collaboration with The Institute for Art & Olfaction, the scent-meets-cinema celebration is for anyone that digs films, smelling nice things, and knows a thing or two about Patrick Süskind's adapted novel Das Parfum. Admission is free and limited to 40 people per screening. We hear that it's first come, first serve, so get there early (at least by 7pm) to grab a spot!
