Is North Beverly Drive the new Rodeo Drive? The active Beverly Hills shopping stretch recently welcomes Scoop NYC, has just landed Lucky Brand, is getting ready for SoCal's debut Sandro and, on November 26th, will score LA's first Maje, according to the French boutique's website.
"The key was to land both Sandro and Maje on North Beverly Drive," RKF real estate exec Rachel Rosenberg explains regarding the Parisian duo. (Sandro will be at 310 N Beverly and Maje will be a hop away at 350 N Beverly.) "The sister brands (both are owned by parent company SMCP) like to position their stores in the same district if not side-by-side, such as in SoHo or on Bleecker Street [in New York]."
Rosenberg goes on to explain that Maje and Sandro's selected LA locations "mark a series of contemporary fashion deals on the east side of Beverly Drive. It's one of the hottest real estate trends we've seen, and competition for space on North Beverly Drive is at an all-time high."
