Remember when Curbed LA revealed that The Grove founder Rick Caruso was dreaming of running his shopping center's trolley line through a two-mile loop down Third Street to the Beverly Center, and down Fairfax to LACMA? Our neighborhood-focused sister site has a promising update: "Caruso and LACMA are joining together to launch a feasibility study to 'evaluate the opportunities and challenges of extending The Grove's existing trolley to Fairfax and Wilshire including traffic, environment, design, engineering, and cost analysis." OMG.

An official release notes that the study is expected to take six-to-eight weeks, and local City Councilmembers Tom LaBonge and Paul Koretz support the move, so it all sounds pretty legit. Although the Beverly Center wasn't included in the updated route, never say never. Are you into it?
