More big boutique news for Brentwood. After scoring Cali-cool basics brand Velvet earlier this year and soon-to-open blogstar fave Rag & Bone, the luxe nabe is also nabbing two more major names for its shopping scene. California Apparel News reveals minimalist chic European label Helmut Lang and NYC-based Theory are slated to open in the upscale 'hood next spring, right across the way from celeb-faved shopping haunt Brentwood Country Mart.
The two brands will be setting up shop right next door to one another within new 9,500-square-foot retail development Brentwood Place. The fashion trade pub reports that Theory will occupy two-thirds of the new space, and that the duo will be the building's only tenants. Whoo-hoo!
