Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Ladies and gents, it's now time to unveil the winners of the 2013 Racked Awards for Los Angeles. Our champs across 11 categories represent the best and brightest in retail in LA, a city that continues to prove its stylish standing in the fashion world. Because our winners work hard and they're good at what they do, we hereby crown them as true retail rockstars and we look forward to watching them continue to soar.

Before we list the names, though, let's go over the rules and logistics. For three of the below categories, we asked readers to choose between a pre-determined list of nominees. For the remaining eight, we made the decision ourselves after much deliberation. Nominees and winners alike will be feted at a party tonight in Manhattan. Those winners that couldn't make it should watch their mail for their coveted prize, a turquoise mannequin head bearing the official golden turban of the Racked Awards. And now, without further ado, the winners in Los Angeles.
