It's sad but true: Rudy's Barbershop at The Standard Hollywood is no more. The link to their Standard WeHo salon is dead and under "locations," only the DTLA Standard, Silver Lake, Melrose Ave and Santa Monica shops appear.
A voice message confirms that the salon has closed, and that all of its stylists have relocated to other Rudy's locations nearby. Fans of Dewey and Ellen can find them at the Melrose outpost, Kristen at Silver Lake and Linda at the DTLA Standard operation. A receptionist at The Standard revealed that the salon went dark at the end of 2012, though the hotel still hasn't removed mention of it from their website.
