Unless you are a person of incredible wealth or notable celebrity, you probably haven't seen the inside of many luxury boutiques' VIP rooms. These are the places where high rollers are escorted, often via private entrances, for serious shopping binges; the hidden-away lounges where champagne and sparking water are on hand; the gilded cages where no plebes will disturb the trying-on of fancy gowns and expensive jewelry.
