There was a lot of talk about how sick Jennifer Lawrence was before the red carpet portion of the Screen Actors Guild Awards kicked off. Thankfully, J Law showed, seemingly recuperated from walking pneumonia in a navy Dior gown. Also sick was Marion Cotillard, who (coincidence) was also wearing Dior for the event. Sadly, without the weather to discuss, red carpet hosts turned to a raft of other filler material for the live show—like when each actor received their SAG card. Snooze alert.

Good thing, then, that we had lots of pretty dresses to look at. Big trends of the evening included navy and black and, on the other side of the spectrum, pastels. There were many strapless fishtales, lots of Dior and Oscar de la Renta, and because this was a red carpet, there were sequins aplenty. Check out the night's best looks in our gallery.
