Although new personal style bloggers seem to pop up by the hour these days, there are a handful of players that remain a cut above the rest. After some extensive fact-checking and number-crunching, Fashionista has determined that exactly 15 influential individuals continue to lead the pact by way of an impressive amount of monthly pageviews, social media followers and brand partnerships. Three Four of these standout stars are based in Los Angeles.

World traveler (and BryanBoy's bestie) Rumi Neely of Fashiontoast lands the #8 spot for originating the "laid back, not-really-posing poses" copied by many bloggers today. Aimee Song of Song of Style is #7 for her various big money deals, which include a Schutz Shoes footwear collab and a Botkier ad campaign.

Crowned "the idol of women across the country" by the fashion blog, Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere scores a #3 position on the list, just behind Leandra Medine (also known as The Man Repeller) and BryanBoy. Her relatable style and expert home-entertaining skills landed her a book deal, an Estee Lauder gig and a series of speaking engagements in just the last year. See the complete list here.

UPDATE: Wendy Nguyen of Wendy's Lookbook is also local.
