The days of free parking at the Century City Mall are almost over. As was reported in September, mall ownership decided to ditch the free model for hourly rates that will be "consistent with and comparable to similar centers in similarly dense areas." The blogger behind Franklin Avenue spotted a sign at the shopping center warning of the increases, which will go into effect February 1st, and they're not insignificant.

Parking for up to three hours at the structure will be a dollar per hour. After that, it's a dollar every fifteen minutes and cost maxes out at $24. To get completely validated and free parking from Westfield, you will have to show receipts of $250 or more in purchases from that day. Yikes. Shoppers are not going to be happy about this.
