The 18th annual LA Art Show is going down at the Los Angeles Convention Center in DTLA this Thursday, January 24 through Sunday, January 27. To kick off the festivities, our city's top artists and collectors will gather at the space tonight for an exclusive preview of the show, complete with fancy drinks and treats. Tickets are open to the public and are available in two levels, one of which includes rubbing elbows with James Franco.

As Blogdowntown notes, "tickets to the opening night party as well as VIP access to the convention can range from $125 to $500. The most expensive tickets will also get you access to an hour-long reception that has actor (and writer) James Franco as the guest of honor."

The show's site confirms that the art-obsessed actor is, indeed, the star of the Patron-sponsored reception, which will take place from 7 to 8pm. If you're a super-serious Franco fan, score two tix to this exclusive portion of the night (and access to some other cool stuff) for $500 here.
