Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Kristen Turner is an accessories-obsessed, wardrobe stylist-turned-fashion blogger living in West Hollywood. Kristen created Glitter 'N Glue, a fashion do-it-yourself blog, in the summer of 2010 as a way to curb her shopping addiction and tap into her creative side. Over the past few years, she's gotten crafty for brands like Swarovski, Forever 21 and Target. While reluctant to tell us, she eventually revealed her favorite spot in Sherman Oaks for incredible vintage finds.
I can't believe I'm about to divulge my absolute favorite place in LA to find vintage jewelry, but The Sherman Oaks Antique Shopping Mall is truly a hidden gem (pun intended). Located on Ventura Blvd just over the hill, it's a collection of many different antique vendors, many of whom specialize in antique costume jewelry. I try to visit at least twice a month because their inventory is always changing and you never know what you'll stumble upon. My suggestion is to go often, go when you have lots of time to browse, bring cash and make sure your iPhone is fully charged so that you can quickly do a little research on the vintage pieces before you purchase. The Mall has a fantastic collection vintage pieces from costume jeweler Weiss, Kenneth Lane and if you look closely you'll even find a few vintage Chanel pieces, yes Chanel!
