Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Elissa Kravetz runs the LA office of Kravetz & Company Public Relations, an agency she started in 2007 with her sister Jessica. Kravetz specializes in fashion, accessories, beauty and lifestyle PR campaigns with clients like Steve Madden, NOBU, Orangina and Lisa Blue Swim. When she needs to relax on a Friday night, she heads to this detoxifying spot on Olympic.

"Years ago, a dear friend shared with me the secret of LA's Korean Spas and I have been hooked ever since. Most are in Koreatown and I've tried many of them out, and my favorite is Century Day & Night Spa. You can spend $50 and go in for hours and hours of pampering. Just $30 will get you a body scrub, massage and scalp rub—they literally scrub you to a pulp. Sometimes I freak out because it feels like they are peeling a layer of your skin off, but the end results are ALWAYS flawless-looking, silky-smooth skin. They have a Korean mist eucalyptus steam room that is divine and a mugwarts tea jacuzzi bath. Upstairs, there are four different rooms at different temperatures. They have a clay room that you can lie in and mediate or stretch and a salt rock crystal room that's heated. These rooms completely melt away the tension of the day. I love to go on a Friday night with friends to unwind from the week. I seriously don't know what I would do without the Korean spas!"
