Yesterday, Chinatown concept shop Ooga Booga boogied down to Boyle Heights to open its second location at 356 S Mission Road. Aptly named 356 Mission, the new space's launch party featured music, dancing, ping pong, video projections and a healthy dose of art. The main room currently features 12 large-scale paintings by LA-based artist Laura Owens, with the front space being dedicated to Ooga Booga's art-meets-fashion retail offerings. Swing by.
