If December is engagement month, than January and February are dress-shopping season, right? Monique Lhuillier and Oscar de la Renta are taking advantage of a group of brand-new brides-to-be with wedding trunk shows at their Melrose Place boutiques.

First up is Lhuillier, who will be hosting women this Thursday, January 24th through Sunday, January 26th. According to Refinery29, if you buy a dress during the by-appointment-only sessions, you'll get an "exclusive discount" on purchases. Customers will also get an early crack at the designer's fall 2013 gowns.

Meanwhile, nearby dream wedding dress destination Oscar de la Renta will be having its own trunk show February 7th to the 9th. As at Lhuillier, slots are by-appointment-only and the label's newest gowns will be available. Call 323-655-1088 to schedule with Lhuillier and 323-653-0200 for ODLR.
