The indie design lovers at Melrose's TenOverSix are headed to Dallas and in addition to a boutique, they'll be opening their very own coffee shop. This news comes courtesy of the TenOverSix blog, where we learn that the place will be called Weekend Coffee (cute) and will serve Seattle's Victrola beans.
The co-owner of TenOverSix explained that, "LA's been having somewhat of a moment for the past several years in terms of coffee, which has certainly rubbed off on us" and that having a young child has "amped" his need to be "caffeinated constantly."
The cafe is slated to open in March and in addition to caffeine, they'll be peddling pastries and a few food-related dry goods like aprons and ceramics. We only have one question: When's LA getting its own Weekend Coffee?
