2013 is swiftly shaping up to be the year of star stylist salon openings. Tracey Cunningham recently unveiled Méche on Burton Way and, just a few weeks ago, Amanda George teamed up with Jonathan Antin to relaunch her Neil George Salon as Jonathan and George. A-list hair guru Robert Vetica is setting up shop, too, but not in the way that you'd expect.
Instead of opening a standalone salon, the industry vet behind Scarlett Johanssen, Marion Cotillard and Salma Hayek's greatest coifs has teamed up with SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills to launch inside the property's stunning Ciel Spa.
Open seven days a week from 10am to 8pm, the salon is equipped with stylists handpicked by Vetica that master in bouncy blow-drys (from $75), chic cuts (men: $75; women: $125) and red carpet up-dos (from $150). See the full list of services here and call 310-246-5560 to book a seat.
