V magazine recently sat down with local design star Elena Howell (née Coleman) or TOMTOM Jewelry to chat about her spring collection and upcoming projects. Inspired by auto racing, Howell created the "Grand Prix" range using water jet technology and "cut raw sheets of brass into sleek lines and shapes to create the feeling of speed and motion. Another exciting tidbit from the piece is that TOMTOM will soon include handbags and fine jewelry: "In fact, I just debuted a small collection of black lambskin envelope clutches with art deco influenced bronze hardware. These will be available in the spring online and at Satine Boutique in Los Angeles." [V Mag; Previously; Previously]
