By way of Curbed, we're alerted to this Architectural Digest feature showcasing big-name fashion photog Steven Meisel's gorgeous midcentury modern estate. Meisel said he fell in love with the area, Trousdale Estates, when shooting a campaign there for Versace in 2000.

At the time the neighborhood wasn't exactly cool, but Meisel decided to buy there anyway. He purchased this 1963 house and hired Marmol Radziner + Associates to expand its footprint and Brad Dunning to design the interiors. Click over to Architectural Digest for a full tour of the place, including a sunny kitchen and a swank pool area.
