Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Designer Jenni Kayne's known for her spare, pared-down clothes and accessories, an aesthetic that extends itself to her LA boutiques and even her private home. Architectural Digest serves up a hefty does of house envy, going inside the massive, airy space Kayne shares with her real estate agent husband Richard Ehrlich and the couple's two children, Tanner and Ripley.
Done by the same architectural firm, Silvia Kuhle and Jeffrey Allsbrook of Standard, that designed her first boutique, the home features vein-cut travertine floors, salvaged wood ceilings and a concrete indoor-outdoor fireplace. Click over to Architectural Digest for a full tour.
