A few years before becoming Kim Kardashian's boyfriend, Kanye West had a blog called Kanye University. The site showcased the rapper's affinity for fashion, music, art and caps lock (which he continues to use on Twitter), and highlighted tons of emerging artists.
One of West's featured talents was LA-based conceptual artist Megan Whitmarsh, who's also a favorite of notables such as Cindy Sherman, Todd Oldham and Neil Young. If you're interested in seeing the designer's "pop noise visualizations" in the flesh, then hit up her Here Comes Purple solo exhibition this Saturday, September 22 at the New Image Art Gallery. Who knows, maybe you'll encounter a Kimye sighting.
