Tavi Gevinson's star is rising faster than Ryan Lochte's reality TV career. Just days after telling us that Los Angeles is her favorite city, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the teen blogger phenom signed with Hollywood talent agency UTA and is set to star in a film with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and James Gandolfini. It looks like Gevinson's snazzy new agent is already looking to make her a household name, because last night she appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as a legitimate guest.
In her five-minute chat with the former SNL star, Gevinson quickly wins over Fallon with her hilarious wit and natural charm. They gabbed about everything, from Gevinson's first encounter with Björk ("she's not human") to her NYFW show schedule ("I only went to one this time") to her labor of love Rookie, which is the focus of her new book Rookie Yearbook One.
Fallon ends the segment with "Tavi, I'm a fan of yours and I'm going to follow you and watch you rise, rise, rise." Watch it here.
